It's so crazy that my little boy is 1. I really did just have him. Time just flies by way too quickly. He is such a fun boy to be around. He makes me laugh everyday and I love every minute with him. Even when he's teething. The other week we had a little party with some friends and family. I decided to be adventurous and make a car cake for him. Too bad he didn't really destroy it like I expected him to.
My favorite thing were the Jell-O race car molds. Blake was even the one who discovered them. We were at Kathryn's house and Blake opened one of her kitchen drawers and started pulling everything out. She happened to have like 25 molds and when I saw them I flipped out. They were perfect.
All he really wanted to do was touch the flame. He got really close too. He has quick hands apparently
He poked at the cake for a second. Then pulled an Oreo wheel off. He liked that part, but that was pretty much it.
The next day I decided to make him a "Jell-O" cake. He liked that a lot better. His hands and stomach were blue for a while.
Ava is pretty much Blake's girlfriend. Although, he's not allowed to have a girlfriend yet. I'll have to have a talk with him. They play so well together. They're always following each other around, sitting on each other and dancing together
