I decided it's about time to do a post about my new arrival. 2 kids definitely keep me busy. Here's a brief recap of the whole event. Friday night at around 6 I started having contractions. My sister, Lisa was coming from Pocatello to watch Blake for us, so we waited about 45 minutes for them to arrive. We made it to the hospital at around 8:30. I was at a 4 and 90%. They made me walk around for an hour to get me progressed more. I was sure i was at a 6 or 7 by the end of it...nope...4 1/2. So they sent me on another walk for an hour. I only made it 45 minutes. Walking around in circles for 2 hours while having contractions is so far from fun. They finally let me have some drugs at around 11:30 since I had finally reached a 5. I'm sure I said I love epidurals about 10 times. I figured it would take a long time for her to come out, so I decided to sleep. That only lasted about 30 minutes. At 2:15 they said it was push time. Dr's arrived and at 2:52 Zoe Summer was born.I think she's the cutest thing ever. I've forgotten how great it is to hold a newborn. They just lay there and cuddle with you without a fight. She loves to be wrapped up tight. I'm betting she'll be a chubby baby pretty soon, she loves to eat a ton.

Blake wasn't too sure about having a sister, but he finally warmed up a bit after a week. He likes to call her Oh-wee. Whenever she cries he likes to inform me and take me to her.

She smiles in her sleep a lot

And so did Blake
