Blogging is not my forte. Things have been pretty crazy around here. I feel like we've been out of town so much. About a month ago I went to Utah to watch my cousin's kids while they went to cancun. 6 kids by myself...I was slightly nervous, but it turned out great. Blake and Zoe were so entertained that they barely noticed I was there. I was even able to finish up a couple of projects while I was there!
We've been managers for a house since September and I've been wanting to do something with the yard ever since we moved in and now that it's finally warmed up I've been able to do some things. I've been moving pretty slowly on it since I'm only able to really get things done when Zoe is sleeping. She HATES the grass. Little miss diva. Plus getting a bush and all it's roots out is not as easy as I thought! I've been giving myself quite the workout. We're getting these two massive pine trees removed next week so once that's done we can finish up all the little stuff. I'm surprised at how much I enjoy doing yard work...
Blake and Zoe...I swear I just had them. Blake is about to turn 3 and I'm in denial about it. He's grown up so much in the past year, I can't believe how much he's changed. I used to say I can't wait for him to start talking more. Now he's chatting my ear off about something just about all day long. Zoe just cracks me up. She's so cute and she knows it! Which means trouble. She loves her brother more than anyone else. Her objective all day is to follow him around. Sometimes Blake is okay with it.
Brian and I celebrated our 6-year anniversary! Has it really been that long? Once we hit 10 years I'm going to start feeling really old. I say we visit Hawaii for our 7-year anniversary! :)
