Blake's Birthday!

So the day started out with this...yes, my child is cutting his food. On the floor. Yes, he did eat it. It was his birthday, I let the kid do whatever he wanted.

We had lunch at AC with his favorite buddy "Geck" also known as Beck. A lady showed up to do balloon making and face painting. I have Blake a dollar to get a balloon.
Next thing I know he's getting a spider on his forehead...
It seriously took 10 minutes and then he rubbed to spider off. So it took her another 5 minutes to fix it. I don't think he realized he was getting his face painted either.
Next on the agenda was some water color painting that he got from Beck. This kid loves painting and being the mean mom I am, I don't let him do it much, but that day he had free reign on painting.
Next Brian was determined to get the kid a balance bike. That day. So we drove 30 minutes to get one. Only to find that it was at their wharehouse and they'll get it the next day. With some sweet taking we were able to convince them to get it within an hour. Zoe thought she was getting one too.
So we decided to go get some food. Blake always talks about "boppy" also known as pizza to most people. He always mentions it when we go to this place, but the kid actually doesn't eat the pizza. He really just loves the pasta and the fruit from the salad bar.
When we got home he was pretty tired.
But we were mean and made him open presents. He thinks he's so cool on this quad, and he actually is cool.
Zoe decided to take her fair share of the presents when Blake wasn't looking
This movie is pretty dang cool

Then we had some cake. Anything with strawberries is good for this kid. He would actually be pretty happy with just a mound of strawberries.
Oh and the night before he got to go see a movie with his dad. He was pretty "cited" for the movie. He even got his own popcorn, drink and candy. I think the tradition of a movie on his birthday is going to go over pretty well.

Overall the kid is pretty dang happy. I don't think he fully understands that he's 3 or what 3 even is, but he loved all the activities and presents that came along with it.
He's a fun and curious little boy that always keeps me on my toes.
He loves asking what you're doing. Over and over again.
Loves doggies.
He thinks just about everything is amazing. Just the other day he said wow because I had brought some grapes with us.
He loves the water and I must say that that wil go down in the books as a proud moment to me
He likes to help me out in the yard.
Loves riding his balance bike.
He's soaking up words like a sponge and it makes me laugh all the time how he says things. I love it. Just maybe not so much when he repeats the same thing 10 times in a row.

He's a great little kid and I think I'm prepared for what the next year brings us...probably not...
